I've made a forum, why does the register link not seem to work?
My security protected pages look like a load of garbled text or chinese characters. What's going on?
What does the bandwidth allowance specifically apply to?
I turned my site's scheme colours to my Smart Objects and now I can't turn it off. Help!
What does 'Cross-domain linking to this Smart Object is not allowed.' mean?
How do I contact Technical Support for more help?
Forums require a user Access Control smart object in order to function properly. Although you don't need the Access Control to be on the page with the forum, it is still required as this object provides the functionality for the registration of new users and maintains group and moderator permissions.
Unfortunately a file in the install wasn't updated correctly before WebPlus X2 was released and is indicating page security use the incorrect web server. This will be remedied in the patch; for now, the workaround to get the access control/page security integration working correctly is:
Bandwidth allowance applies to downstream bandwidth used by smart objects - i.e. whenever somebody views one of your smart objects (a blog for example) the bandwidth used is subtracted. Bandwidth is not currently deducted for users submitting files via Serif Web Resources forms.
When this option is turned on, your site's scheme colours are stored in a cookie to ensure every page of the Smart Object is displayed correctly. You can clear these settings by deleting the cookies in your browser.
This feature is designed to prevent other people from putting your Smart Objects on their websites. It is set in the 'Filter Offsite' input when you Edit your Smart Object. You should put the domain where your website is hosted, including the 'http://', in this input for it to work correctly. (For example: 'http://www.mydomain.net'). To disable it, Edit your Smart Object and clear the input then hit Save.

From when you activate your hosting, provisioning your web space should not take more than 3 minutes.
Most domain registrations should happen straightaway; however, .co.uk domains may take significantly longer. If your domain is not set up after 24 hours please contact Technical Support.
If you use an existing domain with WebPlus.net it should be set up straightaway; however, be aware it will depend on the TTL (Time To Live) values set in other name servers that we have no control over, and that some people may be able to resolve your domain's new location before others. Please read this article for more information about domain TTLs.
