 1, Due to the special working environment of high-pressure Raymond machine, when the milling operation is carried out, the work environment of the gear transmission is poor. Under the circumstance of serious impact by the dust particles, the gear pollution is serious. Or gear transmission parts of the oil is not added in time, serious oil pollution, will lead to high pressure Raymond gear transmission failure.
 2, after a period of operation of the gear transmission, the axis of the pinion and the axis of the Raymond mill grading roller may become non-parallel, causing the gear to mesh to become a partial contact. If the gear in the entire tooth width force uneven, it is easy to cause the gear shaft bending and torsion deformation. In addition, if the gear transmission material is not uniform, there are slag inclusions, pores and hard particles, the surface or subsurface local shear stress is too large, resulting in broken teeth phenomenon.
 3. There is stress concentration on the gear of the high-pressure Raymond machine. When the tooth top of the gear enters the meshing state, under the action of excessive equivalent contact shearing stress, the surface layer forms the original crack. During gear running, the high-pressure oil wave generated by the contact pressure enters the crack at an extremely high speed and exerts a strong fluid impact on the crack wall. At the same time, the surface of the gear pair can close the crack opening and further increase the oil pressure in the crack Rise, and forcing the crack to the direction of depth and tooth surface expansion, the material off from the tooth surface, the formation of pitting.
 4, in the transmission gear single tooth to withstand the load time to be greatly extended, which is caused by gear wear too fast an important reason. The reduced coincidence will inevitably lead to gear backlash increases, so that some impurities and airborne debris and dust easier to enter the meshing surface of the gear pair, causing abrasive wear occurs.
