I have just seen an advert for a 5 month old standard bitch in Lincolnshire at £800 or swap for a pug. I could seriously murder these people I really could. This site had 5 pages of standards for sale and 99% were adverts from pet people, all saying more or less the same thing "OUR BELOVED PET HAS HAD PUPPIES" What is wrong with these people Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

It must be one of those days Viki, I have read in the DW today that
the ruling body across the water has put the idea forward that
stray dogs and cats could be used for Vivisection Puke Puke Puke
I will put a link on here under its own topic shortly.

It was Pets for Homes Eileen and I have no idea where in Lincolnshire but the majority of the adverts are for that area. Bloody disgusting

Sandy, how do they know they are strays and not lost by someone. I would have a complete hissy fit if my dog got lost and they did that, I don't agree with testing on any animals full stop, I think that is disgusting too

i guess if no microchip then it will be deemed homeless. Horrific springs to mind.

And if one takes a look at epups, the whole Poodle and Poodle X world
are on there. The market isnt good, but it doesnt stop some producing
Doodlemans?? yes, and now the latest newfoundland cross.
I came off the site feeling we may as well give up, those of us who
will need to have a litter to continue our lines etc., need to think so very carefully. I worry when I see the prices dropping to £400 and £500
not because of loss of financial situation, but meaning the devaluation
of our breed. So sad.

Sandy how right you are, the crosses are basically the same price as the pedigrees, its a sad situation and it's always with our breed they cross. I went to the doctors this week and the nurse told me they were thinking of getting a dog, a cockerpoo because they don't shed. I told her RUBBISH, and I also asked her why she would pay hundreds of pounds for a mongrel when she can get one from the rescues, but these people don't see them as mongrels they see them as an actual breed, I came out of there decidely pee'd off because you think people of such professions have brains Embarassed

The heartless advert is from a breeder in LN1 2Ld breeding labradoodles I have spoken to West Lindsey council this morning as this breeder does not appear on the commercial breeder list http://dbelistuk.blogspot.co.uk/
The breeders also have a standard poodle stud dog Mad Hatter (Leolordens Ghost Chaser (Ivanola Goldstone x Ching Ching Ching Jackpot) x Fluffy Tail Princess ( Cosheston Ghost x Benjalowen Madeleina) At least 31% inbred. I will say no more.
Please note this is not an advert for the stud dog

From what I have heard about THAT council they will do nothing Evil or Very Mad
Well done though Carole, good move on your part, perhaps we should all call them. I do find this area is bad for this kind of situation, especially knowing of some of the people there !!!!!

The trouble is it makes you scared to breed a litter because you cannot be sure of anything anymore. No matter what you put in a contract some people will ignore everything you say and do as they please.

breaks my heart when I read these adverts. So many 'beloved' pets for rehoming that are also advertised as 'suitable for breeding' However on another note I do know a genuine case where a hobby breeder is looking to place up to 5 female SP's. I'm not going to moralise about it when you all ask 'are they spayed' and I say 'no' - she can't afford it. However it's NOT first come first served, they will only go to genuine SP lovers. All fairly young. 2 are sisters. 3 have never had pups.

It is ridiculous that we have to discuss matters like this out in the open. The forum is a disgrace.

Lotto, will she hand over to rescue ??? Or is she seeking homes herself ??? You say she can't afford to spey but surely she won't let them go unspeayed to new homes, that is a big risk

Are we to believe she is selling them? Or are you actually using the
SPC Forum to help find them homes?

If more details were available as to age etc., maybe we could be more
pro active in helping to place these girls.

Interesting your remarks about it being a disgrace, when the person who built it and seems unable to do anymore to it seems to think it is running so well Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
