Serif users

This group is for the discussion of Serif Software and the posting of images created or modified with Serif Software into discussion threads. 1. Please post your images at medium size (about 500 pixels wide) (more on how to do this below) 2. The 'subject line' should be short and to the point. The 'subject' is used by Serif members to pick through the threads they've commented on, and those that are new to them. A simple 'subject' will keep our thread list looking clean. 3. To add an image to the post, go to the photo's main page and select ALL SIZES. 4. Choose the medium version of the photo. 5. At the bottom of the page you will find the HTML code for the photo itself. Copy this entire section and paste it into your post. **************************************************************** We would encourage everyone to ... Enable viewing of 'All Sizes' of your photos. To fully appreciate your picture, viewers will often want to see more than the posted medium size picture. Do comment on the posts. Please do not post your images directly to the Gallery or Pool. If you feel that any posted image is exceptional in some way, then please add the word 'GALLERY' in capital letters to the thread, if 3 or more of these 'GALLERY' nominations are made, the image may then be added to the group pool or (Gallery) So!! Please post images into a thread and remember the pool is reserved as a gallery of the groups best work!! **************************************************************** A note about Adult Content ... More schools are encouraging the use of Serif software, particularly DrawPlus and as result this group has its fair share of younger members, consequently we are very aware of our responsibility to those youngsters and their parents, and therefore we discourage the posting of any images of an adult nature into the threads or the pool. We would also ask members to be aware that some of those youngsters might explore the Photo-streams of their fellow members. **************************************************************** Useful Links

Hi

Hello folks just wondering what we are all up to. I have not been doing much with DrawPlus or anything creative lately just feeling a bit in the doldrums really but it would be nice to hear from any of you and how you all are.

I was looking for a tut that I posted years ago and got into looking up some of the old discussions. Looking back they were a lot of fun and made me smile reading them. Happy days

This was done with another freebi called fotosketcher. It has a load of effect with a lot of control. I know I know it is not Serif but it is a guide to what should be available

Is this the thing you mean by outline. I have to confess to using Photoscape for this. It is a free download but I find it has more control over photos.

I did this in photoscape years ago. I first had to convert a video clip to individual frames then add the effect to each frame. This last part was easy as photoscape will edit a number of frames in one go in batch editor

These are just a sample of what I mean although DrawPlus is not really a photo editor and I think you get better results in photoplus.

From the top is the original I took from google images, then watercolour, oil, impressionist, expressionist, pen and ink, pointillist and finally Van Gough. I never asked, do you have draw plus because these are so simple in photo lab.

I hope you like

Oops, it has been so long I can not remember how to post an image into a discussion. I have my image into my photo stream. I have selected it. I have selected share at the bottom right. Then can not remember if it is share, embed, email, or bb code. I have tried them all but none of them work. HELP.
