Road Closures on Ukonom District
Travelers in the Haypress and Stanshaw areas of the Ukonom Ranger District are advised of closures on Forest Service Roads %3AFSR%3A 15N17 and 13N11 due to washouts. The closures are located in the northeast corner of T13N R6E Section 36, at milepost 7.7 on FSR 15N17, and milepost 2.7 on FSR 13N11. Although the Ukonom District is on the Klamath National Forest, it is administered by the Six Rivers National Forest. The Haypress and Stanshaw trails, as well as Let’er Buck and Ten Bear trails, are popular with equestrians heading up into the high country of the Marble Mountain Wilderness.
